According to Cesare Milanti of Eurohoops, Khem Birch has finally returned to Euroleauge after Six NBA seasons and has signed a deal with Basquet Girona in Spain. Basquet Girona was founded by Marc Gasol and competes in Liga ACB.
After being waived by the Spurs in October, just before the regular season, Khem has been looking for his next opportunity. he has allegedly in touch with Reyer Venezia in December, but wasn’t able to crack a deal with the Italian Team.
During his six year career in NBA, Khem Birch has played for Magic & Raptors and appeared for 20 games for Toronto last season with an average of 2.2 points and 1.3 rebounds in 8.1 minutes per night as a backup player. He later on got traded with Jakob Poeltl in the month of February, but he never got to play with the Spurs.
In 2014, he got undrafted out of UNLV and played one season in the G League. Khem then went to spend time with his teams in Greece and Turkey. He Signed with Orlando in 2017 and later on got joined Raptors, and got waived by Raptors in 2021.
